Do I really need car Insurance?

Yes, you do. Now there are a couple of reasons why you do need auto
insurance. First of all it's the law. Its not fun having to look over
your shoulder every time you see a cop and hoping you wont get stopped
because you don't have car insurance. And there seem to be a lot more
cops here in Mesa. Also, if you do get stopped for no insurance, not
only can you get fines, but you may also get your car impounded, or
even have to get an SR-22 for three years!
I have had so many customers come in needing an SR-22, just because
they didn't have Arizona auto insurance at one point in time on their
car. An SR-22 is a filing for the state which lets Motor Vehicle know
when you maintain current liability insurance. Now some customers have
sold the vehicle that they needed to get the SR-22 for, but because
they are required to have an SR-22 for a certain amount of time they
still need the filing. Usually they have to buy a non-owners policy to
obtain the SR-22. So because they did not have liability insurance on
their car for a small amount of time, they are dealing with the
consequences a year later, even though they no longer own that vehicle!
